I was able to get the Echo Show 15 for $118.70 after tax by trading in an old Amazon Echo Dot (2nd Generation) for $5.

If your account shows you are eligible for 25% off with trade in when you visit the page, you should be able to replicate. I traded in an old device that was sitting in a drawer unused for over 2 years, and got $70 off. They calculated the 25% off the MSRP of 279.98, not off the sale price. So I got $98 off for deal of the day, and $70 off with the trade in discount. Includes remote and after tax it was $118.70 plus a $5 Amazon GC.

Unfortunately, I don't see the 25% discount. I even added an echo dot for trade-in, but it doesn't seem as though they're doing the instant gift card and promo code anymore (at least not for me). It says I'll get the promo code and gift card after they've received/appraised my echo dot.

I'm guessing they must have removed it from the eligible Echo devices between yesterday and today. Definitely was too slick of a deal, probably a mistake.

I believe the catch here is you already had to have the auto-discount from trading in an echo previously. I was able to replicate the deal, but only because I'd traded in another echo a month ago. The discount just auto-applies.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from the 15. I've had it for a year now and the features just get worse and worse. Removing playable apps, adding the fire TV remote, poor voice recognition, etc. It's night and day compared to an Echo 8. I love my Echo 8. Find an alternative big screen.

No trade in. At 118, it would have been a great deal. Oh well, will stick with my dot for a bit longer. i already have a 10 and 8.
