Browsing thru my offers I came across this one here. I do not see any mention of a minimum purchase required OR I just do not see it.

Gift cards for example are excluded from AmEx cashbak bonus. Do we get it?
I usually take screenshots during every step in case I need to prove that I actually made the required purchase for the offer.
Remember to use your Capital One credit card for the purchase and that this isn't valid for pick-up orders or delivery to store orders. Only orders delivered directly to your address. Also make sure you're using a web browser to activate the offer and make the purchase, not any mobile apps.
I personally purchased 50 bucks worth of office supplies. Worst case scenario I can just return them if I don't get credited, however I do expect to get credited for them. Overall a really slick deal if you know what you're doing.

Staples will report back to them with your purchase total and qualified amount -- if Staples doesn't want to pay cash back on a particular item (like GC) then they'll tell CapOne that $0 qualified
Now the cash back being $50 we don't know if its a mistake or if they'll honor it so hope for the best b/c usually its a percentage of the qualified amount -- other portals are giving 2-3% cash back for Staples so $50 purchase would be $1.00-1.50

Staples will report back to them with your purchase total and qualified amount -- if Staples doesn't want to pay cash back on a particular item (like GC) then they'll tell CapOne that $0 qualified

Not all portals have same restrictions and not all restrictions are enforced -- I've used coupons/rewards and gotten cash back fine on other portals even though they also have coupon terms
At the end of the day it'll be up to Staples to report back how much qualified spend you had on that order -- if they don't want to pay anything on tablets then qualified amount will be $0
It'll be up to CapOne to see if they honor the $50 amount for any qualified purchase amount or qualified $50+ purchases or none of them since it could be a mistake

So whatever staples reports to the 3rd party site, is the same for all portals.
That means using coupons at least is fine. The capital one terms are just way too restricted nonsense.
