I have two off-brand inflatable paddle boards and both are much better than expected. My first one is rated for only 250 pounds but easily floated and hauled myself (6'3" and 200 pounds) and my girlfriend with no problems. If buying one, I would not worry about getting a brand name board but I would look for a few things:

1. 11' or longer.
2. 6" thick.
3. Three removable fins (many only have one that is removable).
4. 32" or wider.

These four factors would be if you want the most stability and also better maneuverability (three fins vs. one). If you are looking for a faster paddle board, then the above may not be ideal. Also, if using on small ponds or just for 30 minutes or so at a time, then 10' may be fine.
Should work fine, but only if you go with the 11' which will give her MUCH more stability, glide and speed. The 10' is just too small unless under 100/120lbs. I suggest you contact the seller with a warranty question and see how they respond. Note that Amazon can have some good deals on boards while others have purchase a cheap board, had seam separation and no vendor response. I suggest people look at the iRocker Nautical at $199. with and extra email coupon of $25. off. 45 day return, 3 year warranty and a proven name with good resale at any point. Also the iRocker has the extra side/middle of the board D-ring which make it easy to attach a seat. Note you will need a paddle, so grab a 3 piece paddle (returns/open box) from paddlers outlet for under $20. for a solid quality paddle. https://irockersup.com/collection...dle-board#
Shouldn't be a problem with ur blow up GF.

Curious how this is - anyone have first hand? I bought - figured I could always just return if I learn anything that makes me regret my decision. Wife has been wanting one for years, so I figured this was a good anniversary present to carry to the local lake and the beach when we go down.

I just bought this last week before the sale for 4th of July. Its my first iSUP and I can say that it works well. If its your first inflatable paddle board, a hand pump will take some effort to get to the recommended psi. (13-15psi) I purchased the tire pump adapter, so I can use my car/bike tire pump when/if the manual pump fails. I got the 11' version and I was speeding through faster than my friends 9'6" hard board. I convinced him to get this board at $100.

I'm over 6' and often run 10 miles standing on a mixed class I/II river with a regular 10.5" board. I don't see a strong need to get a longer board.

I recently got this cheap 10ft board and have used it three times. See link below…$125. So far I really like it. I like the seat and two sided paddle which allows you to sit in kayak mode when needed. I purchased a 12V air pump for about $60….recommend this as the hand pumps are a lot of work and mine broke after one use. I do wish mine had three fins not just one. That would make it a little more stable. Not sure 11 ft vs 10 ft is that big of a deal. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hydro-.../757880639

The question is, how much does your GF weigh?

Never used a SUP but I am thinking to get one so I can take my kid (combined weight less than 300lb).
With two people, is it difficult to maintain stability? What else is needed to seat two?

I find that stand up paddle boards are very difficult to fully inflate. I tried several pumps and I end up sticking with this electronic one. Sometimes it goes on sale to only around 60 dollars
