The warranty is 18 months. You aren't entitled to an extra month of warranty. You requested an exception, and they have the right to say no.

That new model is likely only useful if you have a very specific, high power charging device.

It's going to be a while before most people have a need for anything more than this one can provide.

thats looks better and has better features but it looks like over 27000mah so cannot take on flights? I been waiting for a deal on this primarily for travel.
