these have a really tiny compressor in them or they just use a chip either way they won't get soda very cold right now it's about 98 with Florida so that means it's so they would be about 78°, if it's at in there overnight wasting a ton of electricity

It's probably just a Peltier (thermoelectric) cooler.

There is no compressor, temperature is regulated by Peltier effect thermoelectric cooling to create a heat flux at the junction of two different types of materials. Other than a fan to increase efficiency there are no moving parts in this arrangement.

The heat transfer is reversible by changing the polarity and the "fridge" can also be used to keep things warm.

The description indicates 32° F to 150°F but the heat transfer rate is limited so don't expect fast transitions to these temperatures and the environmental conditions - surrounding temperatures - will influence the actual range

It's more of a toy than practical use.

Call it what you want but I had the non speaker version of this about 20 years ago and it was fantastic to keep in the bedroom for a quick grab without having to go downstairs to the fridge. Especially when waking dehydrated with a hangover, that ice cold can of coke was a true blessing.

This is the Q &A from the manufacture:

The unit should not be used in damp locations or adjacent to heat sources (BBQ's, Grills, Pool Heaters, Pool Pumps etc).
This unit uses a sold state cooling module that cools to a fixed range below ambient temperature of approx. 25F below ambient temperature. As such if it's 80F outside - the unit will cool to approx. 55F.

Understand it's variable, but is there a ballpark range of kwh this will add to electric?

Usually these kind of fridges say cools x-degrees from outside temperature, this doesn't say. Just says 32-150.

If anybody has this. If you leave it under the sun, will it cool down close to 32f?

Well then 95 youd get 70 degree drinks. Really not bad for a fan in a box. That'll feel cool if you are hot.
