Costco has the 13th Gen 32GB model for $1300. Might be worth the extra $450 as you get 90 day return, 2 year warranty, and a faster CPU.

I took a chance and bought the same 12th gen i7 LG Gram 17 with 32GB RAM, 2TB NVMe, RTX 2050, 90Wh battery from a local CL seller for $1000 cash. It was opened, but undistinguishable from new. Completely untouched. The seller buys and sells Amazon, Costco, etc. returns. Someone must have bought this laptop and immediately returned it. The NVMe had less than 0 hours on it, so it was never used. Absolutely love the laptop. May be my favorite laptop purchase of all time (I owned a Gram 17 Intel 8th Gen i7 that was too slow).

And to maybe put another ball in Costco's court, I thought I saw the i7 16GB 17z90q for <$950. I don't remember the exact price, but it was more than just .01 under a thousand. I spent more on my 2x models and if this was the price on the Q version, I probably would have just bought new.

The one you found for $950 must be this one: link [costco.com]
The 13gen 16GB model is supposed to go on sale for $1000 soon. It was this price a month or so as well. The Costco model that I was really interested in before I found my Gram 17 on OfferUp was the new 13th gen Gram 16 with 32GB RAM and RTX3050, but it's just too expensive at $1700 full price, and it was discounted to $1400 recently. Looks like they raised the price on that laptop by $100. It was always listed at $1599, but now it's $1699.

Yep, that's the one! That's the same Q that I have too I think. For me it was all about the display since I use the same resolution at my desk and it was a pain rdping into it from 1080p and not being able to work the same way. I've been waiting 2 years for the price on these to drop and now it seems like they're going to keep dropping. I knew that if I started to build my mobile workflow around one of these, I would need a spare so instead of buying one new, I got two lightly used ones for around the same price. And because all I'm using it for is remote desktop, the cpu specs, ram, etc don't have to be strong at all so even an older one will be fine for my use case.
