I also have a6000 that is working great with upgraded lenses (I don't do video). Trying to see if the upgrade is worth it after announcement.

But I don' know how to see the discount. If the a7iii went from 2k to 1.3k then I'd expect a similar price drop on each of the other cameras.

If you know what lens you want, I'd say skip it. If you're just starting out, I'd say get it so you can play around with it and figure out what it can and can't do for your needs and go from there.
