If you don't care about object avoidance, just get the Q Revo for $699 over the s7 Max -it uses the same "object avoidance" system. It has rotating mop pads, a dryer, auto empty, auto mop cleaning/refilling etc. There is zero reason to get the regular s7 max

IF you want a RGB camera with all the above features, look into the Dreametech L10S Ultra which has been reviewed very well:

You can get the L10S ultra via overstock around 800-900 depending on the signup coupon you get. They are likely having a Prime day sale also
TLDR: The S7 Max should not be bought at $1k. Pay the extra $60 for the MaxV or get the Q Revo at $699 for similar features/performance as the S7 Max or the L10S Ultra for similar features as the MaxV with a dryer.

roborock Q revo if you are budget conscious but it's the best value robot at 699 since it's got lidar, lifting rotating mopping pads, auto empty, mop cleaning/refilling, and a dryer
L10s ultra has RGB camera for ai avoidance and detergent cartridge for mopping over the revo but will run you 100-200 more right now. Might be 799-899 on prime day
I'll see how the l10s app and navigation are because roborock is known for the best app features and robot navigation.
