Card sleeves is what I use but I stared last year, time will tell. I also keep separate selves so common and specials so I kids don't accidentally trade or damage good ones

The real question is are your kids going to play with them? It is a hands on game that requires contact with the cards. If anything that's gonna effect your cards the most. Storing is the least of your problems. You can tuck them away in some Tupperware in a dark dry spot in your closet for 50 years, as long as it was dark and dry the entire time it'll come out looking the same way you first put them there.. that's where I put my sports cards from when I was kid, in my old closet at my parents. If it ain't broke don't fix it, so I'll continue leaving it there until they leave which I doubt is ever so it's safe.
thanks for the tip boss
Agreed, again depends on whether you want to use the cards for building deck for games or you are purely a collector
