Really starting to not like Amex. Chase Sapphire I can get free annual memberships like Doordash, Lyft Premium, Instacart+(which then use to get free Peacock). AND all of these include a monthly credit of upto $15 to spend the whole time. And there are more on top of that, that reimburse the annual membership like $300 toward travel, GlobalEntry, etc.

Amex is nickel diming their subscription offers by requiring a monthly subscription which is more expensive, and on the YouTube its a discount on 2 months only. I can get a free 3 month trial already thru multiple ways as a perk already. The YouTube Annual membership is already a discount vs the monthly via Amex of $14.
Amex changes on their airport lounge access etc, has really killed it value for me.

just monitor thepointsguy.com website. if there are better sites listing the best total value credit card perks or perks for other subscription, wireless, internet please share.

I get Max(HBOMax) free with ATT Internet 1gb service
Walmart+ gives me Paramount+ basic free
Chase Sapphire cards give DoorDash, Lyft Pink, Instacart+(which then gives Peacock). Plus spending on these give additional points and you a get $15 monthly cash credit on some of them to use.

If lucky enough to have Spectrum Internet available, best deal on wireless(Verizon Network). 1yr free unlimited cell phone service, and extra wireless phone service $25/month for the year. Though it looks like that deal is avail in many ways from them.
Whistleout.com site is good to find best phone, internet deals each month BTW.
You use doorrash and instacart? What are you doing on SD ? 😂
Obviously doom scrolling while waiting for DoorDash to deliver his $22 Big Mac 😂

I'm on the You Tube Premium yearly plan. Great bang for the buck. Dropped it for 5 months when they increased the cost. Went back.

Amex gold will increase the fee to $ 325 and throw in a RESY CREDIT. I will cancel then.
I haven't had a single usable offer in 6 months. What happened to the small business offer?

Better deal doing the annual for an individual, but this is at least somewhat worthwhile for those of us with family plans. Stuff is locked down at work, so I'd be paying for Spotify anyway, and this way when we stream YT on our Roku we don't have a billion ads.

Really feels like YT Premium should include some low level of storage premium as a bonus...but oh well.

You can pay with VPN from turkey or India as get it way cheaper like 2 dollars monthly or 3 family plan. There are plenty of documentation out there.

I would actually pay $30 a year to get rid of ads and be able to watch with simplicity on their apps. If you have a link to the simplest way to buy using a VPN and have it "stick" please share.

$180 a year to get rid of ads just means that I get rid of watching much YouTube.
