I don't know how much value an IPS touch screen adds, but Micro Center has a NEW Lenovo Ideapad i3 14" 8GB RAM 256GB SSD for $199 and each store appears to have 25+ so it might be for an upcoming promo.

Touch is important for a lot of people as is the screen as it is taller.

However the 12th gen CPU is much better than the 11th gen at Micro Center.

But yes $199 is a great price.
