Great price. I paid this much for a 6900W Champion Dual-fuel during covid.

This should be enough to run an entire house off of right? I know that can vary wildly, but basically I need fridge, HVAC, and some other accessories at a minimum. Still trying to figure all this out so any help would be appreciated!

Note that this model is not an inverter if that's important to you

depends, look at it this way, you'll only want to use 80% of the generator capacity, which would be around 50 amps.
look up the amps on your hvac, fridge, and whatever else you ( need) to run.
are you all gas, electric? those are need to knows

Picked one up last month that was posted here at $932. Solid generator but the 240v 30A output limits it's ability for running a typical home.

Also must consider the type of fuel you plan on using. The output ratings are based on gasoline. Propane and Nat gas are less efficient than gasoline.

These gen are design to run a fridge and window AC for 12-24 hr at most.

A solar gen or bio gas gen is going to cheaper running cost for days/weeks/months

It actually is barely a limitation at all. Max continuous output on gas is 33.3 amps on each leg of the 240v supply. Factor in natural gas and you only get 29.1 on each leg.

The starting current is so brief that you can exceed the breaker rating.

Well I am running it off of natural gas. I had a tornado go through on April 19th. With all of the downed power lines I couldn't get gas for my existing generator. Something for everyone to think about.
