The price is good at 8¢ an ounce, but it's a lot of margarita mix. I've never had it and it isn't available locally for me to sample it, so it's a definite pass for me. Also, the ingredients are what they are: WATER, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CITRIC ACID, SODIUM CITRATE, SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE, CELLULOSE GUM, ACACIA GUM, POTASSIUM SORBATE (PRESERVATIVE), POLYSORBATE 60, NATURAL FLAVOR, ESTER GUM, SODIUM METABISULFITE (PRESERVATIVE), CALCIUM DISODIUM EDTA (TO PROTECT FLAVOR), YELLOW 5, BLUE 1. CONTAINS SULFITES.

I've had it before with the margaritaville tequila it's fine, I just wouldn't use that much before it expires ( usually about 6 months iirc )

Really? Who's suing this highly sugared crap concoction?

1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, boil for about 5 minutes
Limes
Tequila
Triple sec, orange liqueur, whatever

Seriously, margaritas aren't difficult for good ones.
Try this crap then try a homemade one

The same people that use Keurig, pre-ground, and instant coffee. There's nothing wrong with being a purist, but people choose mixers for convenience, not better flavor. Cuervo's mixer doesn't taste bad to me. Its ingredients are no better than this one, but none of the inexpensive mixers are made with real juice and cane sugar. The only hassle about making real margaritas is juicing limes and making the simple syrup. The alternative? Add mixer, tequila, drink it on the rocks or blend it. Done.

This person was agreeing with you but just adding that some people get this for the simplicity and/or they just don't care.

I agree with you and them too. I love some homemade margs but getting fresh fruit& having it stay fresh for the next party (and juicing them) is a hassle. I don't mind the fake/concentrate lemons& limes tbh but a lot of my guests do gag when served artifical stuff. So I do opt for the natural stuff most of the time.

One of the common mixers are actually made with juice and sugar, but the dang name of it has slipped my mind right now.

edit: it's masters of mixer

Costco's Kirkland margarita mix is cheaper and is now organic, fwtw. No hfcs.
