Lego ages usually have more to do with how fragile / playable the set is after it's built rather than how difficult it is to build. Lego instructions these days are pretty easy to follow on any set

When it says for 18 years and up, do they really mean that? Would a 10 year old or teen just be frustrated by building this?

My teens boys were able to build the 18+ Back to the Future LEGO set [amazon.com]. Guessing they are just trying to target adults and/or empasis that this set is more challenging than a typical LEGO set.

I submitted the lower price to Amazon [amazon.com], toss up if they'll actually lower the price. Maybe if more ppl do it it might happen. Although the Best Buy could sell out, so taking a chance I suppose.

My 10 year old has built plenty of 18+ sets but he's really into LEGO and builds with them regularly. This is an awesome one to do with them anyways so all good if they struggle a bit!
