Surprised there are no comments on this considering the previous sale. Must've fell through the cracks becauee i only found room leaves searching "Amazon" generically! Was super tempted last sale, but now I have no choice but to pull the trigger and figure out what the hell I'll use this for (other than a customizable smart home controller/dashboard).

Yes, the deck sits on top of the stand and the stand is adjustable, you can tilt it at different angles. No wait, apologies this is newer than mind. Looks fixed in place sorry!
Has anyone had success using this through work remote desktop?
Yes - if you're using your home pc, remoted into work PC, the buttons will trigger your home PC's actions.
Whether or not those pass through to the RDC client will likely depend on how you configure your macros. You can basically make anything happen - could always set up Autohotkey if you wanted them to go to your remote pc.
But for me, this is how I prefer it - I can adjust volume and media keys on my home PC while my remote desktop window is topmost.
These are really nice if you WFH and use Zoom or Teams. Especially teams since microsoft has an API and an officially supported plugin. Toggle all the buttons, and emoji on easy button press. It's great. Oh and of course, an easy "end call" button
Any reason to get MK2 vs classic?
Seems the only differences are interchangeable faceplates (seems like code doesn't work anyways), detachable usb-c and Mk2 is now a fixed stand (honestly, would prefer adjustable).
Seems like functionality is the same; FYI classic is $105 so tryna decide which to get...
