This is one of those Best Buy Open-Box deal that is probably very YMMV.
Best Buy currently has the open-box MSI Stealth GS77 12ue-046 laptop for as low as $529.99 (for Open-Box - Fair condition). I don't follow Laptop price too closely, but a quick search on Slickdeals showed that this price is among the lowest price for a laptop that comes with a RTX 3060.
I did some quick research and it seems like the TDP for the RTX 3060 is 105W. Main complain about the laptop is the screen (45% ntsc and I haven't found any info on nits yet). Inside the laptop, there are 2 memory slots and 2 M.2 slot for SSD.

I was basing it on computing power

Worked at geeksquad for 7 yrs. They cannot sell a returned laptop as new even if it's unopened. We were required to open new sealed laptops and test them. As someone said "depends on the agent". Some spend the time others do not. If you think a retail employee is going to test every USB and HDMI on laptops and still make their numbers. Well enjoy fantasy land. That said some are unused. It would be hard to abuse a laptop in the return period. Factory warranty and store warranty still apply. Really no reason not to buy one. If it's trashed you can return it. Would think back to maybe 10 or 20% of open boxes getting returned. Go for it.
PS quality levels completely arbitrary. I had one manager lower the level so he could sell an open box to a fellow employee at a discount.

Update:
Went back to the store to see if they can find the correct charger. Obviously, they said they couldn't find it. Then manager refused to do a price adjustment for the incorrect charger, saying it was an open-box and the laptop was already heavily discounted from the original price of $1800. I could've return the laptop on the spot, but I think I will just spend the extra ~$100 to get the charger myself. For what I am getting, I think $630 is still a pretty decent price.
Edit: I had the camera switch turned off... Lol

1. Make sure you go to gpu controls and tell jt to use your card and not onboard.
2. The charger, unsure if it's the original, runs REALLY hot. Be careful.
3. My condition was satisfactory with "residue" marked as comment. "Residue" was just sticker remains from front sale sticker and will wash off with alcohol.
Pretty pleased so far but the charger is freaking me out a little. May do some more research and/or replace it.
