If I learned anything from FOMO it's that the QM8 is worth the extra $100

And the part that a lot of people won't realize until it's too late is that the 75" and 85" U8K use an IPS panel. Pros and cons for both, but most will probably prefer the traditional VA panel that the 65" U8K has, and which the QM8 uses in all it's sizes

And I went with the Q7 and saved $700. Lol. I have a feeling the Q7 will rate almost as high as the QM8 at Rtings

QM8 is for you If you don't like accurate color/ horrible EOTF/ horrible upscaling. But hey.. the QM8 is super bright... 🤷

I dont disagree with you

However, I am going to say that the buyer that is super picky about those picture quality aspects are looking at other brands... a few specific Sony models come to mind

Or they accept those aspects of picture quality because of the much lower price

Apparently I bought the 55" version of this model back in January. I think I used it once but I really liked it. I have another 55" Hisense flagship tv in my bedroom and a 65" flagship (2021 or 2020) model in my living room. Watching a movie tonight I am thinking I want a 75" in it's place but looking at you guys' comments, I am thinking I don't want this particular model. Any model you recommend? Maybe last years 75 (if I can still find it)?

I don't think the U8K was available in January?
