Funny... I swear by it. No more nicks or cuts. Works amazing! Seriously one of my favorite "man" purchases over the years.

I've recommended it to family and friends. I can think of 4 other guys off the top of my head who all use it now as well.

To each their own.

Same here. Got it for free from my sister when she worked at Philips and been using it ever since. It's fantastic for a simple electric shaver. Gets real close and no more cuts, etc. Great product.

The 25% S&S also applies to the 3 pack of the older style blades, making it slightly cheaper per blade.

Same. Been using mine for many years and would never go back to a blade. My neck used to have permanent red bumps all over but no more.

Cheaper per blade but these aren't "anti-friction" whatever the hell that is

It's not really a general purpose face shaving razor for a close shave if that was your expectation. It would be useless for that even though it has a razor-like handle and head shape. It's a fairly precise trimming razor that can knock down scalp and facial hair to predetermined lengths using the guides. It's great for close trimming on face angles behind the ears and eyebrows etc.

A lot of bald men like me can also use it as the final cutter to allow close cutting of stubble without nicking our scalps or ears. You do need to make sure it is adequately charged as it needs to be at full speed to work correctly.

How much better are these than the regular replacement blades?
