I'll let you know in 2 days 😀 I figure at $26 for at the very least a year of use -- I'll either be happy I only spend 26 bucks or I'll be into it enough to invest more. The page gave me the impression you can use it without a subscription but the "magic" in 3d scanning is in the post processing algorithms. So I think if you wanted top quality renders you'd have to pay some service even if not this one

FYI-, A few months ago I ordered the Starter package from Adorama, it came WITHOUT the Starter Bundle Code. After multiple emails explaining that it should come with a paper card (with a code on it), we even emailed back and forth with the Warehouse crew. They had no idea what I was talking about, and no card was ever found or offered. They finally just had me Return it, and I purchased from Amazon (Matterport Seller). This is actually very good deal otherwise. Matterport is probably the best deal around if you only need to host 5-6 properties or less.

Can this be used with Polycam? Also is this a stabilizer (gimbal?) or just rotates the phone around?
