I returned my pair recently because the noise canceling cannot be turned off. It has two modes -- full noise canceling and "aware" mode which is supposed to let outside sound in, but there's no way to simply turn off noise canceling.
Which is wild because there are a million situations where noise canceling doesn't work very well, so at best it's draining your batteries. At worst it is amplifying random wind noise or dishes clanging or whatever. I don't want to hear that shit twice because I can't turn off your stupid noise canceling feature.

Features & details
NOISE CANCELLING WIRELESS HEADPHONES: The perfect balance of quiet, comfort, and sound. Bose uses tiny mics to measure, compare, and react to outside noise, cancelling it with opposite signals. Bluetooth range-up to 9? m (30? feet).
HIGH-FIDELITY AUDIO: The TriPort acoustic architecture offers depth and fullness. Volume-optimized Active EQ maintains balanced performance at any volume, so bass stays consistent when turned down and the music remains clear when turned up.
QUIET AND AWARE MODES: Choose Quiet Mode for full noise cancelling, or Aware Mode to bring the outside into the around ear headphones and hear your environment and your music at the same time.
UP TO 22 HOURS BATTERY LIFE: Enjoy 22 hours of battery life from a single charge. A quick 15-minute charge offers 3 hours when you're on the go, or plug in the included audio cable to listen for even longer in wired mode.
PERSONALIZE YOUR AUDIO: Adjustable EQ allows you to set the bass, mid-range, and treble levels to your personal preferences or select one of several preset options.
BOSE SIMPLESYNC TECHNOLOGY: SimpleSync pairs your Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones with select Bose smart soundbars for a personal TV listening experience. Independent volume controls allow you to lower or mute your soundbar while keeping your headphones as loud as you like.Away from your phone. The regular rewards for Amazon purchases are 5% cash back with Amazon credit card.
Prime day increases the 5% to 6%.
My question pertains to the 7% no rush cash back.
Is it an additional 7% or just another 1% extra to prime day?
Reply with factual statements not what you think it is.
I already think the 7% is just an additional 1% extra.
How was the no rush cash back calculated in previous prime days?
The terms and conditions are very confusing:
#8 states — Offer is inclusive of the standard % back offered on Amazon.com purchases with an eligible Prime membership and any additional % back offered on Amazon.com purchases during Prime Day.
(Inclusive, not meaning in addition to. If it was in addition to then we would definitely get an extra 7% on top of the prime day cash back). However my antonym of inclusive may not be the only definition for it.

who tried it, between the xm4, xm5 and this which one is more worth it to get?

I think these are way more comfortable and that's what's most important (to me as a big head glasses wearer). I've tried every headphone out there across the board for at home open-back audiophile, travel closed back, etc. Noise cancellation is better on the Bose, and they're smaller, lighter, fold up better etc. Smaller case, better headband. For plane/heavy travelers these can't be beat. I can wear these for 12+ hours on a plane without a single complaint. My QC35's lasted me 5+ years and only now am I replacing the earpads because small areas are started to crack a bit. Going to give those to my GF as she always tries to steal mine.
Only advantage the Sony's have is a bigger mid-range. A couple hours more battery life. The noise cancellation is better for voices but worse for plane/train/car noise.
I bought these refurb on eBay a couple days ago, wish I waited. Oh well, Bose refurb is same as new anyway.
