As a smart watch it's a downgrade. The apple watch is light years better. As a sports or activities watch, I think it's an upgrade.

Garmin makes very good fitness watch and their watches works great on either android or apple side.

So if you looking for more data driven sports watch, Garmin is better. If you just want a good smart watch with basic step counting, go with apple.

Assuming same as Vivoactive3, pretty well. Yardage and score tracking is spot on. You won't get on screen maps or strategy tips like some subscription apps, but core functionality is all there.

I use mine all the time...accurate yardage to front/middle/back. You can check distance to hazards as well. Pretty solid for it not being it's actual purpose!
