In before the people that complain it's no better than a garden hose. Some people don't have access to a garden hose, so this is a good option. I have this and it works well enough to clean my car.

So the water pressure is no better than a garden hose? Thanks, this changed my mind about buying this. I just hate setting up the pressure washer and extend the hose to wash my car weekly.

Is there more pressure was connected to a hose vs a bucket?

I have this and use it to rinse salt water off a boat trailer at the boat ramp. I drop the suction hose in a 5 gallon bucket of fresh water and use the detergent mixer to spray salt away. It gets the job done and it's not expensive at all. I would prefer more volume of water but for the price you can't beat it. I broke a detergent bottle and sun Joe mailed me one for free no questions asked.

Depending on where you live, it may be quite a bit better than a garden hose. I certainly have a garden hose, but I also have very hard water in my area (I have a well). Washing a car with the well water is a sure way to get water spots and mineral deposits.

When I'm washing all our cars, I'll set up my water filtration system with a real pressure washer. But if I'm just washing one car I'll use a few gallons of distilled water from the store, and use a similar hand-held pressure washer (mine is a Ryobi).

Works well enough. The main problem is that the gun can't easily handle standard attachments like a foam cannon.

Damn, I thought I was picky about washing my car. I never thought about filtering the water that I use to wash my car with. Of course I dry it right away with a leaf blower before any water spots set in. But I will look into a water filter system with my pressure washer. Thanks!

I've got this and it has more pressure than my garden hose. It's great because I can just siphon water out of a bucket. I used this to clean my dog's crate in the winter when she had an accident. No need to worry about frozen pipes.

How is this vs ryobi 18v one? I need a portable washer to wash cars weekly. I'm invested in ryobi and don't want more battery around.

Mine's been okay. Mostly used for cleaning the shower with a bucket of water. I put soapy water through it once and it didn't break, just once though..

That's exactly what I had to do today. I needed to wash the car and the hose wouldn't reach so I had to add in another hose but instead of rolling out another one I just pulled the one from the back of the house and then left it down the side of the house when I was done. Use it to water the plants tomorrow, and then I'll roll it up.

Anyways so how much water do you end up using for your car.
