These work great. We just had a crazy flood in NY and these notified me instantly when I was not home. Without them my basement would have been demoed. Highly recommend. Put in boiler room, laundry room, attic, crawl space, plenty of places where water could be and you typically don't check.

Been using these and another brand for many years. And, they've saved me numerous times from what could have become a major flood.

Can you set these up in different homes within the app assuming you have 2 sets of these?

The sensors themselves do not use wifi, they use some low-power low-frequency wireless tech. They use that method to communicate with the plug-in base station, and the base station connects to your wifi network.

I was going to purchase the Aqara as well, but requires a separate hub.

"【NOTES】An Aqara Hub is required and sold separately".

If you want to get remote notifications but don't want to spend much, you can get this version, $30 for 3 sensor and one wifi hub which can connect to its own app. https://a.co/d/ckiPqm3
If I get this one. Is the 5 pack from the original post co
mpatible? Or are they different versions?

LOL. I would not buy these. Short battery life, and annoying low battery indicator from the review:

Quote :
I have 10 of these around the house and they work but have a terribly annoying flaw: they beep continuously when the battery is low. And this seems to always happen to us in the middle of the night. It not only wakes up the entire house but the battery compartment is secured with 4 screws. So I must hunt for my mini screw driver set at 2am while my whole family is upset. Why couldn't they implement a different low-battery indicator?
And the battery life is low. On fresh AAA batteries I'm getting maybe 6-8 months.

Same. Two of mine triggered an alarm. One with water by the sewage. The other one underneath my kitchen sink though there was no water upon inspection. No sure why it triggered. Possibly high humidity?

Base will never report an error if the sensor's battery dies or goes out of range or just stops working. You want to test? just pick up a sensor and remove the battery or take it out of range. Base will keep showing the status of sensor as online with whatever the battery status it had received.

I love these Govee leak detectors, they have saved me way more times than they should.

The B5054002 is the older model of these sensors. This is the version I own. They work great, but you need to have hub B07QP153GT if you want notifications on your phone. I see that some of the 3 packs contain this hub. This version is not smart home compatible right out of the box.

The H5043+H5058 are the newer version. I believe one of those model numbers is for the new hub and new style of detector. This one appears to be smart home compatible right out of the box.
