Wow what a fantastic price. I own the 1000 pro and have been very happy with it. No issues whatsoever. It can take a beating! It fell out of my truck on concrete and still works fine. Thanks op!

Lol 80w solar panel? It's going to take 10+ hours to charge that 1000wh battery, and double that to charge the 2000wh. Maybe if you live in one of those areas where you get 24hr sunlight in certain months then you can fully charge that 2kwh battery within a day.

It think most people would expect that. I don't think people will be charging this device to use it the same day. It would be common sense to leave it out until fully charged for a few days to then be used at a future date.

no one is trying to charge that much from 80w. The 300w kits are so cheap now.. and they advertise this mostly as off grid/camping use, so a decent amount of people are charging this constantly

I think its more related to the number of times it can be charged

you can't be serious.
ignore the padded amazon puff reviews
and check out the bluetti reddit sub
to get the real deal on bluetti
if i needed to rely on power in the middle of nowhere during an overlanding trip
and had to pick between jackery, bluetti, or ecoflow
you bet i will be going with jackery. i'd go with goal zero over all of them in fact.

lots of fear mongering bullshit floating around out there such as "this will be dead at 500 cycles" or, "this will only last a few yrs even if not used much"....b/c it's not lithium phosphate

these are absolute ridiculous claims for these people make
we get it, LiFePO has more life cycles.
what typically dies on these portable battery stations isn't the battery, it's the components (BMS, and especially the inverter). i would be less worried about the battery chemistry, and more about the quality of components the brand has decided to use. and as it stands, bluetti uses shit.

Can you use this indoors? Can you keep it indoors? Say power outage but you want to use your laptop for 6+ hours? Would it last that long if your laptop draws 90 watts? How many hours would laptop last?

this is like a giant portable power bank so you can use it indoor and outdoor, some people buy for van camping and stuff... the acutal capacity usually about 90% of the rated capacity, so it has about 900 Watt-hr in reality. if your laptop use 90 watt-hr, then this power station can keep it running for 10+ hours.. another candidate is this ECOflow power station, it used LifePO4 battery chemistry so suppose last longer, safer, bigger AC output of 1800W,

I think the battery chemistry is important when considering what you're using it for. Older lithium ions need to be charged/discharged more on a regular basis, while not being ideal for long term storage. LiFe is better for long term storage, plus charging/discharging on regular basis and being able to do that a lot more cycles to boot. That's why LiFe is superior tech. But if you're constantly using the battery, either tech is fine.

Jackery is a renown brand, but like many great brands of yesteryears, its quality has diminished quite a bit. Every part is outsourced all over the place. I've heard stories of dead/unusable Jackeries too. Nowadays, by paying a premium for a known brand, you're paying to hope that because it's a known brand, it's less likely to break down sooner. Heck, even Apple products nowadays (a brand known for consistent quality) aren't even at the level of quality they used to be.

The Chinese has flooded the markets in most sectors with their brands/products and slashing prices. The usual companies can't keep up, so something's gotta give, or get drown in the flood like so many of them had.

lol Jackery is not a yesteryear brand. just stop
you completely missed my point about battery chemistry. the issue with these power stations is never the battery chemistry, it's the quality of the non-battery components and their failure rates......the BMS and the inverter just to name some. heat management to name another

if you want to know which brand of these power stations to get, stop obsessing over battery chemistry and look to see who is taking these power stations to the extreme and what they tend to buy

hint: no one is taking bluetti, ecoflow, and the other shenzhen chinese branded garbage on overland trips and going off-grid with them.......except, you guessed it.... the influencers on YT, tik tok, and instagram

i will GLADLY take a goal zero yeti power station with lithium ion, over a bluetti/ecoflow lithium phosphate.

I have this exact model and really couldn't get an answer that didn't require math which I couldn't figure out haha. I took a chance and it powered my 20 year old kenmore fridge for 6 hours. (Model 596.69272990) However, the Jackery shut itself off when the fridge took too long between cycling and I had to turn it back on again. It loses about 4% per month on standby, but otherwise really happy with it.
