22' is currently $199 if you need a taller ladder.

What's a lightweird? Sounds kind of weight.

I prefer heavynormal ladders. Much more trustworthy. Can't trust those lightweird ones.

No, the ladder fully extended (straight) is only 13ft. You'd be better off with a 28ft extension ladder or this: 26 ft. Reach Aluminum 5-in-1 Multi-Position Pro Ladder with Powerlite Rails 375 lbs. Load Capacity T... [homedepot.com]

I have the 22ft version, and while it's heavy, it's my go-to ladder for gutters and other outdoor work.
Actually, this ladder is only 11' long when fully extended. The 13' number is in regards to "reach".

can you extend the other part of the ladder to make it 26 ft and lay it on the side of a tree? i have to trim some branches on a tree and the branches are like 28 ft high.
I know your question was already answered and I get people like multi-position ladders for easy storage and transport BUT I would recommend either renting the proper ladder and maybe a truck to have it delivered to use or whatever or borrowing it from a friend. Buying them is expensive and even then, it's not a bad idea because it's still cheaper than a medical bill and a life time of pain and regret if you fall. Just wanted a moment to be real - talking to myself here today too as I was on top of a ladder questioning my own poor life choices today!

You're right. I did think in case i fell or accidentally chopped a branch that could fall on my roof. I decided to hire some pros to do it. They will be at my house this weekend. i did trim my other trees since those were much shorter and well within reach of my 12' ladder.

I guess the obvious answer is one that reaches the required distance, like an extension ladder. Most pro tree cutting peeps use bucket trucks or lifts, very dangerous business. Personally I've done enough dumb stuff to know, I've cut a limb (6") and it fell to the ground and sprung back and kicked out my ladder. Thankfully I wasn't on it at the time...but it was still a dumb move on my part, I didn't think everything through. My point is, be extremely careful because gravity is unforgiving and shows no mercy.

Hide it lol and keep checking back. I just got the last one at my store, someone was hiding it vertically between some racks in a completely random area away from the ladders. I looked everywhere, couldn't find it and was leaving. HD employee asked if I needed help, and I figured why not. He said 1 in stock and we found it.
