I bought this last year $240 and I thought that was a great deal. I couldn't be happier with it. I added the optional rear speakers and it sounds excellent in my living room. At $180, this is a no brainer.

I placed order for both Q990C and Q700B for $755.99 and $166.5. My living room can't fit the rear speakers well and Q990C is like 4 times more expensive. Does Q700B seems to be a better deal?

Not as good as my Sonos rear speakers I got set up, but damn, much better than running with a sound bar by itself in the room I have this set up in.

You dont NEED it. But it is a nice improvement for not a lot of money.
