Does anyone know how the Starfield part works? It doesn't really show anything at checkout

On the fence.. the triple fan for 6750xt not qualified for star field (and no prime deals). And my budget was $300. But this seems to be a better value? Worth increasing the budget.. hmm…

Upgrading from 3700x and amd rx480… going with 5900x for cpu at $274. Not budget friendly but tired to chase down used items…

Update: bought it. I decided based on "not overthinking". SD guidebook rule #1: When in doubt, buy it out. Sort it out [later].

Been with Nvidia for a while now, never owned an AMD but I only use AMD CPU's and love them!

What will be different? Honestly ray tracing is something I will not use now so that is not really a concern. I am a casual gamer, mostly play older, adventure type games and RPG, getting into racing. Never play competitive games

I have a 2070 Super and R5 3600 and planned on upgrade in 12-18 month but some of these AMD GPU priced have me intrigues to say the least

Debating this vs 6950 XT at $570 (7900 XT at $700 is a bit pricey.)

AM4 and upgrading to 5800X3D (from R5 3600 + RX 580), would this be a good upgrade or should I go for the 6950 XT?

My goal is to improve PCVR performance so I can play HL: Alyx at a higher setting.

2070 super is still a good card. Unless you really want an upgrade, just wait. In the future you will only see lower prices

Similar here. Going from R5 2600 to the 5600x and also bought this to replace my aging GTX 1070 (rip EVGA)

I recently picked up a Powercolor 6750 XT through Warehouse Deals for $315. It's a Red Devil, I think it's a pretty solid deal based on current pricing. The 6800 seems to be a pretty big jump in performance though, I'm toying with the idea of returning the 6750 and ponying up for the big boy. I just ordered a 12700K and Z690 board, for context.

Anyone have any thoughts or speculation on what prices will look like in the coming months? Something tells me we still haven't seen rock-bottom pricing on the 6000 series GPUs yet, but I could be wrong.

I've waited forever. Maybe it will decrease. I wouldn't worry. I decided against the 6750 xt bc of the fans. They are pushing for the dual fans despite heating issues. The triple fan is better and they excluded it from the star field deal. That was a red flag for me to either wait some more which I wanted to… but the 6800 xt seems good value and it has 3 fans.

Thanks! I also spoke to Amazon support and they weren't really helpful. I just wish there was something on the invoice or order details on Amazon that says this is included in the purchase.

We're making the same jump. I feel $300 was the budget price point (where it use to be sub $200). $480 is a bit out of budget for me but due to some bs I felt it's 6800 xt is the value. If u have disposable income get 6950 xt but the 6800 xt is one to get. That u won't regret too much later if price goes down.

China has unfortunately made rare earth metal hard to get so.. price may go up. At this point in time the 6800 xt is the card with value and u should have no regrets if price drops in a year. Honestly $480 vs $570 is a lot! $480 vs $300 was a big jump.. adding $90 on top of that makes it less desirable. Law of diminishing return for p2p ratio. The gains are nominal.

5800X3D is also a great choice. I picked 5900X bc my focus was on productivity not gaming. I like to game casually.
