Supposedly the digital code still worked as of a few months ago, even though it was expired.

Yeah, I was reading through the previous FP deal posts on this and it seems like going though Vudu is how it works. Not sure if it's ONLY Vudu that the expired codes will work.

I've also read in older threads that expired digital codes in general sometimes can be remedied if you contact the movie studio that put out the disc. Can't remember exactly but maybe they just give you a new code to use after reaching out to them.

Source: I own this and trying to redeem the code comes up as expired
