consumes a lot of power when turned off. other than that, its decent. But be aware its only 90 leds. They make ones which are denser

Ive got a couple of Govee products and, like the other guy said, they just work. The app can be a little flummoxing at times, but if you take your time, it's well worth it. All of my products are associated with the TV, so Ive got their T1 TV backlight prooduct connected to multiple Govee light bulbs and light bars.

App control is only via Bluetooth, not Alexa/Google compliant. Have this and the WiFi version, both have worked well for a couple years.

I don't this is the one I have, I have BT and wifi/Alexa and are cuttable. But in any case - I have zero problems with them that aren't my own fault. They're great.

I have them on 2 bookcases connected together via a connector piece I bought on Amazon so there's only one plug and they *should* be in sync (but it somehow dislodged a little and now one is a little slower than the other)

Again, love them. On the govee site there's a chart you can compare all the different models of strips with eachother yo see which you can cut, have wifi, etc but I don't have it on hand

I'm a Govee fan and own some of their better products, but I'll just say...you get what you pay for with their extremely cheap stuff. There's a reason it's priced this low. I bought one of their cheapo 16 footers end of 2021 and it was so bad I returned it immediately lol

I have two of these Govee LED lights (may not be he same model) that died after only a few months of use. Started flickering then won't turn on anymore. I think it's the power supply so it is very likely all these lights use the same inferior psu. I contacted them since their warranty is 12 months, we shall see how or if they respond.

I have one in the basement plugged into a TP-Link smart plug, so I get pseudo automation that way. Still have to connect via BT if I want to change a feature, but if you use the same setting like I do, that is a workaround!

What is the difference between these 100ft models? I picked up the set in the 2nd link for $45 a bit ago. I don't want to rely on google or alexa to control the lights. I would also like a bunch of lighting patterns to play around with.

Edit: I think this may be the answer. If it's not correct please advise.

A: H617F is a Bluetooth version. H618F is a Bluetooth&WiFi version.

i have a couple of these, but be careful when bending them since a section of mine are stuck in a color range due to it being pinched under my desk corner and monitors. but easily replaceable and for the price i want to install them again… just lazy
