I use this but use wood pellets for the litter. Absolutely love the system. I change the pee pads 2x a week. I have 2 cats: 2 breeze boxes and a regular box. Use wood pellets for all of them. One breeze box they don't pee in much, only poop. The other two are used a lot for pee.
My cats eat an entirely wet diet so the amount of pee they have is great lol
I bought the large version when there was a deal a while ago. I prefer it over traditional litter. I have one cat, so I have to rotate the pee pad halfway through its "cycle". Smell is pretty tame, and clean up is way easier. Only issue is the pads and pellets are pricey.
Adult cats that are used to regular litter may have trouble adjusting to pellets. My sister bought one of these and her cat didn't want anything to do with it and starting peeing in random places.

We've had this system for a couple of years . If you have a tractor supply or another store change to the wood pellets (horse bedding) and Amazon brand pads are cheaper and just as good !! They are $18.50 right now for 60 pads
I have 7 cats! We have multiple breeze systems for over 2 years now. The best! And, we learned there is a better way then spending high costs on their pellets and pads!
NO pads needed. Slowly, over time, these turn into dust which falls through and you just dump the dust every so often. And, then once a month or so, you can change all the pellets. This one bag will last you (for 1 breeze system) at least 5-6 months!

My first cat was stubborn as hell and would only accept the expensive Worlds Best Cat Litter. Now we have a Bengal and he poops and pees in the toilet. Has his own bathroom and if he didn't I would've built him one if it meant not having to use a litter box again.

Oh wow! Seven cats! I wonder how many cat litter boxes do you have? They say one cat litter box per cat plus one. We have 2 cat litter boxes for one cat, but she only uses one. We are 100% sure she forgot about the 2nd one after using it excessively for several years.

I concur. We spend $8 for 40 lbs of pine house bedding from tractor supply and it lasts several months. To me, it also smells a lot better than the pellets that came with our litter box.

I've bought some imitation pads, amazon basics, work pretty well, but a lot cheaper
I have 2 of these and love them. The smell is only there if you're not changing the pads (or dumping them into a trashcan with a closed lid). Sure the poop smells when it is fresh but that is the same with a normal little box. I find it goes away pretty fast.
I have had these for about 8 years now. They are great. I have 2 regular ones and 1 XL for my two cats.
One is Maine Coon so it's a tight squeeze for him in the regular ones with the lid but he uses them.
I change the pads once there is pee on both sides which is usually about every other day depending. I use a mix of the Amazon basic ones, the ones it comes with and then for my XL I use the multi cat ones. I have found those to be great and can go 3-4 days or so before needing a new one.
No smell if your on top of changing the pads and scooping the poop as it comes. Which you need to because the poop does usually stink at first. But I have been complimented by multiple people on the smell of the house with cats.
I will say there is one big kryptonite of this system though that you need to prepare for. That is diarrhea. My god is it brutal. My oldest is super sensitive to everything and has it semi regularly these days. The poop gets in the grates of these things and it a pain to clean if you don't do it quick.
I've just found it easiest to take it outside and hose it down and put in new pads and pellets when it happens because it's hell trying to get it out of the small grates otherwise.

Now, instead of pellets, we use this (from Tractor Supply Stores) https://www.tractorsupp
