    Sadly, I remember in the 90s when Pioneer big screen TVs were actually very good. This TV, however, not so much.

    Got this yesterday for $149 on a lightning deal, $200 is still pretty solid, already have one of these and very happy with the speed of the OS and very good picture quality for the price.

    Got a pioneer tv last year like this with Amazon fire tv built in. It's used on our back porch. No issues whatsoever. Plenty bright for outdoors.

    back in the plasma days Pioneer TVs were the best. This TV is not actually manufactured or sold by Pioneer, it's from a Chinese company that has purchased rights to the name. That doesn't necessarily mean it's good or bad, lots of other companies (JVC, Toshiba) do the same.

    Missed the lighting deal on 50in but got it for $200 with 6% amazon cc cash back. Above avg reviews and worst case I'll return if I don't like. Needed to replace my crap roku tv in room.

    I bought one from Best Buy early this year. The screen failed less than 2 wks. Luckily Best Buy let me return it and not having to go through warranty.
