None of these have worked for my ferocious tiny couch destroyer, who prefers couches over all these cat scratchers. I've stopped buying these. It's been a problem for 10 years

But magically I found an amazing catch scratching post on Chewy for $30 that was well worth the money. It's the first and only scratching post that actually works 100% and is incredibly durable and fashionable.

Unfortunately, these scratch posts made from rope, never work for my cat. For some reason, he has no interest in them and I've tried several different rope type of scratching posts. I have a similar challenge with my little fur guy. I've bought him a few different scratch type toys/posts but he still prefers the couch lol. I was able to get the scratch post you recommended for $31, OTD. I just used a different email address, setup a new user account and used code 'welcome' for $20 off new order of $49+. Worked out perfect since the scratch post was priced at $49 and change. It was nearly the exact price needed, in order to utilize the $20 off coupon for new users. Thanks for sharing your experience with it and I truly hope it helps with my little guy too. Repped!

Yep. I placed mine right next to the couch. In the beginning put the cat on the post few times. Once they learn how good it feels, they will go for the scratching post all the time.

Also it still looks brand new after 2 years. This thing is solid construction.

Decent price but our kitties have zero interest in the rope scratchers, cardboard scratchers though, they go to town on those, not nearly as cost effective as rope but they've never scratched any of our furniture either!

My cats LOVE the big sisal one and for $30 with the coupon code you mentioned was exactly what I was waiting for. Just ordered one! Wish I could rep you. Someone should make that into a post.
