It should. I don't have this particular model but rather the one from Elecgear and both replace the SSD cover inside the PS5. I haven't had problems with mine.
If you get a 4TB SSD, be aware it has chips on both sides, well the WD SN850X does at least not sure about the others. This heatsink is only single sided.
WD has a PS5 marketed version of that SSD, the SN850P, that comes with a heatsink however I don't know if the 4TB heatsink just covers the top only or bottom as well. If anyone has a link to a pic of the back please post, I've looked but couldn't find any reference to the heatsink being single or double sided.
On a side note, given the need for increasing capacities of m.2 drives, it seems like a poor design choice to only have the m.2 drive lay flat on the mobo given the bottom side can't have a large heatsink on it like the top side.

My "v3" PS5, introduced sometime in 2nd half of 2022, has aluminum shielding on the bottom of the M.2 slot and not a bare PCB board like the v1 and 2. This may help with extra heat removal for those with the newest PS5.

First I've heard of that change, good looking out by Sony. I actually have the launch PS5, 4TB SN850X, and this Sabrent heatsink. I wish there was some way I could see the temp the ssd is getting up to.

Yeah, the double sided SSD probably won't work too well with this heat sink.
