So if you can't get the 15k spend and 60k bonus points this year, you could still get it early next year which would give you a good start to the companion pass for next year. Then you could apply for one of the other rewards cards early next year to get to the 135k.

That's only 13,333 points per $2000 spend.

Compare that to a traditional promo that gives you 60,000 points for $2000

But the referral link (from the link created from the chase refer a friend page) shows it is still active and says expires 9/4 (today)

Hmmm... the referral link still works even though it shows expires on 9/4. Anyone have any experience getting this to work when the link is still active, but the date shows expired?
