Came out to 10 bucks with employee discount. These are better now that they are in aluminum pods.

Was able to use 4x before being told I couldn't anymore. Got 4 60 packs of this & 4 60 packs of other front page lavazza deal. 480 pods should last a looong time. 🙃

I am currently using the older version plastic ones. They are weak but not too bad in taste. you need to use 2 of them to get good flavor.

Anyone know if these aluminum pods can be recycled? Does Lavazza have a pod recycling program like Nespresso and Peets?

Unlike the original Nespresso pods, these aluminum pods are missing the paper filter at their base. Nevertheless, I haven't encountered issues with these.

I agree with this. I personally really like the flavor of the red and purple ones (one is chocolatey and other caramelly, can't remember which) but like you said you need to use dos pods to really be satisfying which then makes them not such a good deal pricewise. Looking forward to these ones but I'm expecting the same so figure 45 cents per good cup!

Our local supermarket had a couple of these on BOGO last months, so a picked up a few to try. I think the flavor profile is improved from the plastic ones. They are not up to Nespresso or Peet's, but fine for cortaditos/lattes/etc. I bought some more with this deal.

One weird issue I have, is that first capsule I use, doesn't pressurize and pop the seal immediately, so I get a dribble of water before the coffee starts flowing. However, each one after works correctly. Not sure what is happening, I can't believe I am randomly picking a bad one first every time. I have gotten into the habit of holding my cup away from the stream at the beginning and wait for the coffee to start flowing.
