Currently using my N20 with Tracfone, as recommended in their website for compatibility I purchased a Tracfone GSM/T-Mobile SIM card [tracfone.com] and I'm getting 5G mobile data, the estrange thing is the carrier is recognized as T-Mobile not Tracfone or Verizon.
then most people will stop paying the 40 monthly fee.
wait 5 month for phone to unlock.
and then can use on carrier of your choice
total cost = $60 + 5 month wait
n20 seems OOS online for quite some time.
have to go to store
which many veteran metro sd'er will avoid if possible
i have taken a vow
i will never set foot in a metro store again

anyways i'm oneplus fanboy but n30 was their first slip imo. no oled (the biggie) and still the sd 695 which is ok but nothing great. i guess a lot depends on the quality of the lcd, lcd vary a ton. they can be fine, (samsung, nord n200) or trash (motorola)
i guess on the positive the 120hz display is nice and the 8gb ram. and you probably wont do a ton better than the sd 695 in this price range anyway. but now there is the low end pixels which are oneplus first strong low end competition albeit typically pricier.
6gb and oled vs 8gb and 120hz...pick your poison n20 vs n30 i guess

one could argue even the n20 was a step down from the n10
initial cost of n30 was 90. now lowered to 20.
8gb is nice touch
on the n20:
a few users said they had issues with V & ATT.
a few users said they had NO issues with V & ATT.

Also, does anyone know how many major updates this will get? I avoided the n20 because of unknown updates.
