i've seen m12 tools on one of the construction sites on billionaire's row in NYC. if they can be used on billion dollar+ construction sites that will be used as case studies in engineering schools for decades to come, i'm sure you can use one to fix a shelf in your kitchen cabinet.

i think the real issue here is you desperately trying to compensate for something very small to your own self.

What's the location in store that you would recommend starting at to find them? In the Power tools or on am end cap? Have a few locations around that have stock

These things are usually up top on shelves in bins. Look for the item numbers. Beware though, I just picked up a 2 pack of 6.0s for $100 on clearance at my HD and it ended up being a return that someone clearly put their old batteries in that didn't charge. Ultimately got milwaukee to warranty them but was a bit of A PITA.

The clearance tag lists 99 as normal. They went to 80 then 70 and finally 50 at my local stores. They are in the clearance section normally but sometimes they'll be buried in the battery cage, sometimes in bins and even saw some hanging in a random aisle.

Saw the tag at my local store today on an empty slot in the lockup and wondered what they were.
Not a fantastic deal, but decent enough if you need them now. Otherwise I'd wait for a bigger sale. Still worth a thumbs up.

Thanks. And gross on the junk return. I've seen YouTubers mention it and how terrible of an experience was to rectify
