I have a smart power strip. I plugged in 2 monitors and my desktop. I work from home. I have a door sensor to my home office. I set up a routine in Alexa that when I open my door at 8am, it says good morning, says the weather and news and turns on my monitors and computer.
Who knows?
Christmas lights?
Router and modem? Restart one then the other?
Some people like to be sure some things are turned off when not in use. So maybe have an automation that 1,2, or all of them turn off when you leave?
Maybe to turn off you phone charger, watch charger, and whatever else when you leave the house?

I have smart outlets in the house, smart plugs, smart light switches, bulbs….all sorts. It would be hard for me to find a place for this too. But $15 is cheap even if you only end up controlling one of them.

Why would I want 3 smart outlets on same strip? What are some use cases?

Convenience? It says the outlets are individually controled.

I have many smart devices/outlets. Was just curious if there's an application I was overlooking.

A niche example but something like this is helpful for seed starting. I may have a heat mat on one, a light on another, and a fan on another where each can be controlled by their own timer.

I have a couple of these and they are very temperamental with Alexa, I would say they only work about 80% of the time

I use T-Mobile wireless internet. Every few days my wireless router cannot connect to the T-Mobile modem and needs to be power cycled. This will be a great solution as I should be able to set daily power cycling of my router. Additionally I should be able to tell if my refrigerator is pulling power (on).

My refrigerator, routers and cameras are all on solar.

It's frustrating that products like this are sold without basic information. They list the Joule rating but no clamping voltage, and I have yet to confirm the max amps. The online manual, Amazon, and the manufacturer's website are not helpful in this regard. Based on the photos, the 6-outlet 4-foot one can do 15A, and the 3-outlet one can do 13A, but this product doesn't have a clear photo of the power specs. (Oh, and Amazon marks this as 240V, which is an obvious mistake, but the laziness is annoying.) Maybe get something that doesn't require yet another account.

Automation setups in a room. Lamp on in the evening, LED lamps for plants during the day, run an exhaust fan in the evening to cool down the house, etc. Not to mention remote control of a circuit/device you don't want powered all the time.

I got a pair of these the last time they came up for this price a few weeks ago. They've worked really well, and I'd buy more again (if I didn't just pick up a couple the kasa mini plug-in smart outlet adapters).

Is there like a built in memory feature that would automatically turn on/off even when there's no wifi?
