So, this is something of a long tail deal, but if you own a digital PSP version of Killzone: Liberation (a lot of SDers got it
free as part of the PSN hack compensation back in 2011) you can claim the PS4/PS5 port for free.
It is currently a PS+ title, but if you have the digital original in your library, you can claim the PS4/PS5 version to own for free. PlayStation Plus not required.
Log in to PSN on the web and then hit up the product page:
https://store.playstation.com/en-...6460000000
If it shows a price, you don't qualify. If it shows as free, claim it.

Btw, it's one of the best PSP games and still is fun to play in short bursts. Highly recommend trying it if you got this.
It's likely setup as crossbuy in the back end. Occasionally happens with ports but isn't advertised.
No. As stated in the OP, the PS4/PS5 port is free for accounts that own the PSP original. This has nothing to do with PS+.
Has to be the digital version. Otherwise there is no record of ownership.
This is false. You do not need to be as PS+ subscriber to get the deal. As stated in the OP, the PS4/PS5 port is free for accounts that own the PSP original.
That's why I posted this one. Soooo many people got this from the hack settlement, it seemed like a good deal of SDers would qualify.
Which does not matter as this offer does not require any version of PS+.
Like the OP says, you need to own (or buy) the digital PSP copy of Killzone: Liberation to get the PS4/PS5 version for free. If you don't own the original, you don't get a free copy of the new port.
As stated in the OP, the PS4/PS5 port is free for accounts that own the PSP original. If your PSN account has a license for the PSP version, you get the PS4/PS5 version for free.
People who do not own the digital PSP version have to pay for the PS4/PS5 port.
