I personally wouldn't recommend anything from Razer. Their customer service is one of the worst that many, including myself, have ever dealt with. Just hop on Reddit and read all the posts that people make about this terrible company. My Blade was my last purchase. If you have money to blow and want to gamble on not ever needing support or a replacement, then go for it. Otherwise, steer clear.

I 100% agree. Bought one of their Portal routers a few years back. Had all kinds of problems and told by support something like "we stopped making this... so we're not responsible" even though it was under warranty.

jumping on the "razer has bad customer service" bandwagon.

they took away my access to their sound software for some reason. oh well, less razer garbage on my computer!

I'd buy a Creative Katana V2 over this.

I was looking into this soundbar and I just concluded that buying a Samsung one would have been better

Klipsch's support isn't anything to write home about either.

FWIW, I have had the V1 for years. It would turn off automatically after non use; I reached out to Razer, they gave me a firmware update and problem solved. Great audio for my PC. It's not Sonos, but I use optical out from my PC to the V1 and I've been happy.

I've had decent experiences with Klipsch actually. I used to buy their x10s, and when they broke, they would replace them without hesitation.

More recently I complained about their abysmal software experience on the Klipsch fives. They notified me when they released an update, which was kind of nice.

Anything, such as Razer products, that require access to/from their cloud for full functionality should be avoided. Even something as simple as the color changing software for a keyboard requires access to the Razer cloud backend services to function. If you decline the EULA - no features for you!

I've been looking for new pc speakers. Maybe I'll just go for this one. Has good reviews, and price tracker shows its almost at its lowest price.

Just need someone to push me in the direction and say they love theirs, and I need it.

If only I hadn't spent so much during prime day.
Don't bother with this, Razer is not good for audio products. If you want a soundbar for your PC, go with the Polk Magnifi mini (if you have optical on your mobo) or the Creative Soundstage Katana V2. For a 2.1 system, which I'd take any day over a soundbar due to much better separation/imaging, I'd check out the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 (only $100ish and everyone loves em), some powered Edifier bookshelves, or my personal favorite, the Steelseries Arena 7, which is the best 2.1 PC system I've ever used. And they look awesome too with great RGB that shines on the wall behind em. I'd also recommend the Logitech G560 over this Razer garbage, and they're also cheaper at $180 right now.

Very underwhelming by soundbar standards. The software makes it so much worse. Would avoid. Returned mine as it's just mediocre. The Klipsch soundbar is much better.
this was what i was wondering. thanks for confirming

Avoid Razer. I bought 2 razer TB4 dock. Both are shit, the minute u have 2 monitor plug in, the speed on the usb is so crappy that any wireless mouse or keyboard will stutter

Some food for thought I bought their latest headset and headset stand and I had a nightmare of an experience with their customer service. It was so bad that I just decided to return both products. I've never returned something to a company and said to myself "I'll never buy a product from them again" until I dealt with Razer. 🤷🏻 ♂️

I'm more of a Logitech guy, but last year I had to reach out to Razer support for my sons broken Kishi - they were a little annoying but in the end they replaced it with the Kishi 2. All in all not a bad experience

Which one? I have the 2.1 pro media right now and it's pretty good.
Pro media 2.1 are good for the price. I wouldn't necessarily call it a good set.

Even at $75 they were crappy compared to my z2300s from 18 years ago.

Ended up returning them and spending a lot more for bigger sound.

Pro media 2.1 are a high value though.

I just picked this up from Best Buy.

My PC speakers are KEF LS50W II at my desk. They're for music, and as expected, sound far better than this soundbar. They're also $2800. However, if you're not used to standalone speakers, this Razer will give you punchy music with bass.

Likes:

Small size that fits right under monitor.

Huge bass, for a lightweight sub. 6lbs.

I can hold the source button, and it switches right to my LS50's.

Spacial Audio seems built into Synapse for this speaker (which sells for $20)

Very powerful sound for my gaming room in my 'house'. RIP apartment neighbors.

Cons:

Synapse software is finicky, but will ultimately work

Too much bass for heavy apartment use
