Also, in a 2023 study by ConsumerReports, BB Chunk Light Tuna (in water) came out as the best canned Tuna for lowest mercury content. Albacore Tuna when compared to Chunk Light has on average 3-times the amount of mercury, because Albacore is an older-larger fish. The difference in mercury content between BB and other brands though was minimal on the chunk light.
My biggest concern with this deal is getting the tuna delivered without being close to expiration, and on a day where the sun won't cook it on my front porch.

not a terrible price, but this stuff is garbage. it is a liquidy mush, full of thousands of tiny tuna bits.
It works fine for tuna fish salad or various baked dishes, but yes, if you put it plain on/in something, the fine texture is "mushy" compared to chunk tuna.

I've bought this before, and I think it works well in tuna dishes. I wouldn't necessarily eat it straight from the can (though my spoiled dog will). I think this deal is worth considering for just $0.67 per can.

All-time low according to CCC.

Thank you for this info, I've always wondered about the mercury content ✅
While IMO mashed down and watery tuna like this is pretty disgusting, I got 2 cases for Tuna Fish Tuesdays to give my kitty; thanks OP.
My cat loves drippy tuna; the more juicy and mushy the better. She should be all set for awhile now thanks to this deal. I appreciate that it's a trusted brand name and it's nice to have in my food stock/pantry just in case I get desperate enough to eat it as well…

Even mixing it up in a tuna salad with mayo, spices, mustard, and relish isn't enough to make it edible in my experience.

Maybe our standards are different. I'm ok with that, but posted my experience with this product to help inform other consumers.

I don't know how the Chicken of the Sea [amazon.com] chunk light tuna in water compares to Bumble Bee, but it's $25.42 with S&S ($1.10 per can).
