How many points does it normally cost?

3 months is showing up as 35,000 points for me. Glitch fixed?

Edit: I see now you're buying one month for 12,000 but it's redeeming for a three month code on your account.

When I try to buy, I'm getting this error:

"There's an issue with your account or order"

Confirmed works. Don't know if you can stack, but after you get the reward for 1 month, code shows as 3 months on Xbox redeem screen.

Was able to get one. Didnt have enough points for more. Been auto-redeeming 1 month for the discounted 10500 points.

It forces you to activate recurring billing so don't forget to turn it off if you're not interested.

You have to check on the Xbox itself through the app. It has a section for auto-redeem and the deal was there.

Finally was able to get the deal to work for my account after resolving an annoying issue with Microsoft's login security.

I'm two months away from the 36 month maximum - should I hold on to the code until I'm three months out for maximum value or redeem it right now while the getting is good? Probably too risky to wait, right?

Edit: I tried the code anyways and it would let me because the three months redemption would put me over the 36 month threshold so now I don't have a choice but to wait and see if my code still redeems for three months in August.

Here's the message I got after trying to redeem:

Hold off extending this right now
You've reached the limit of how far you can extend a subscription. Try again later at a later date.
