Keep in mind the battery on these will likely need replacement soon.

I tried buying a few off Amazon recently and even though you can select different conditions, it seems like it all goes through the same so you just get what you get. Nothing in the order indicates the condition I had selected. I was paying for excellent condition and getting acceptable based on amazon criteria. Just my experience. Ended up getting a keeper from ebay.

Even A54 is inferior to s21. Our photos with s21 are like day and night to the cheap A54. S21 is well worth the money on all hardware specs

how much is the oem battery brand new?
Maybe $15 $20 for the battery. If you don't have the tools to open up the phone maybe $30 bucks for everything. There's usually a bunch of tutorials on YouTube or Ifixit

That's really what the "fan" edition should have been. A plastic back that snaps off with easy access to the battery and a headphone Jack. Keep the same specs. No one cares about a cheap looking back as we all use cases anyway. Would sell like hotcakes.
Yeah, I use an S20 FE..was $250 for an unlocked one at Walmart in Black Friday 2021. Sucks that it lacks a headphone jack for a phone with "fan" features. Otherwise it's a great little device. I prefer plastic/polycarbonate any day to glass that will shatter after a single drop.

there was no s21 "very good" on that 20% discount page. only "good" and it looks horrible with all wear and tear.
Very odd since I still see it posted and I was able to buy one.

I finally decided to go with the Best Buy S21 FE 5g T-mobile upgrade that was posted on SD 5 days ago for $250 so I don't have to worry about the battery. I need a quick replacement and will wait when a better trade-in deal comes around.

Good choice. It's a solid device for me.

It worth going from a OnePlus 8 to this? I could probably get my money back out of the OnePlus but is it worth it?

I'm really surprised people buy refurbished phones from random places like this. Waaayy back I used to be into phones and swapping to try the newest toy that peaked my interest, but the market now is filled with shady shops doing shoddy work on damaged phones and re-selling them as "very good quality". If you Google some of these companies and read the reviews from their store front it would be very different than the ebay rating.

If Samsung was smart, they'd bring back the headphone jack and launch a big marketing campaign. A lot of Gen Z have been wearing wired headphones lately, as they find it retro/vintage. Surely it can't cost more than a buck or two for the little jack.

That must have been the deal I remembered. My trash bin deletes itself every three days.
Pretty sure Metro/ T-Mobile had the deal in house too.

This is what I was referring earlier.
The last time this similar deal popped up the threads went just like this one has.
It started out all sunshine and roses and they people started getting their phones and the comments went south from there.
And a lot of the comments reflected what you just said.

I was about to say that. Samsung batteries suck when they are new. Imagine buying them used.
That's nonsense. I only ever buy used Samsung phones and I've never had a battery problem. I use it all day and charge it every night.

Using a used 21FE right now. Battery is fine.
