Aren't these really old components
Agreed. It's been an awsome budget card. It's been good to me at 1080p. This seems like a decent deal for someone that doesn't have interest in building their own pc.
Getting rid of old stock. They had RGB blinged it out to convince you enough and nice enough to give you a 600w gold unit. The 3100 4c/8t is decent and overall great for anyone that doesn't have a PC.

If you were to DIY, you get way more performance with the RX 6600 and get a free copy of Starfield. Skip the 4100 and look for a 5500 deal that was $80 not too long ago or find a used 3600.

1660S is still a pretty good card for 1080p but I would swap it out for a 3060 maybe a year down the line

Too bad this isn't the 3300x, but this will still get you in the door. For a cheap 1440p upgrade, just pop in a 6600XT or 6650XT and you shouldn't need to mess with the power supply. I assume this is a B450 board?

You could build better cheaper but decent deal. Intel i3 12100 would be much better with an upgrade path to boot.

How does this compare with an Xbox Series X in terms of capability?

Actually a B550 board according their own website.

https://skytechgaming.com/product...-16gb-ram/

Edit: Specs seems the same but maybe not the same model. Let me double check.

Edit 2: This is the link to the current product:
https://skytechgaming.com/product...-16gb-ram/

It is a B550m board.

Edit again: It seems like the pictures showed a Gigabyte B450M DS3H board. So either the product page is wrong or maybe they have changed to a newer board.

I'd like to stop and marvel at how the Ryzen 3 3100 has actually reappeared somewhere after its amazing disappearing act.

I mean, you get an upgrade path with this too. Straight up to 5800X3D.

It might be a dice roll. Knowing Woot, these could be old-new stock unless they're just acting as a storefront, which they also do sometimes.

Similar processor core architecture, but the Series X has 8 cores vs. 4 on this. The graphics processing is theoretically a little over double on the Series X vs. the card in this PC as well going by TFLOPS. Just to put it into perspective.

The PC is upgradable, but you start to lose value unless you already have parts handy. Strictly gaming, the Series X is a better value. It just has no PC utility since it's a console.

Built a mATX with 5600g, 600w psu, rx590 for less. But still a decent buy for someone who wants a no hassle set up.
