I completely understand the sentiment but I'm really happy that it didn't overstay its welcome. A lot of anime series around this time (Trigun, Evangelion, etc) told their stories and then just got out while they were hot. And their legacies are even better for it

It's a good show but let's not pretend anyone has ever paid more than $5 for the complete series.

Only downside to this is since they didn't include the movie you are kind of missing part of the series. The movie falls between episodes 22 and 23 of the series. Seems odd to not just run the entire thing as one package at this point.

Believe the iTunes version is the English dub only. It's also on Netflix in original Japanese if you have that

i paid $80-ish for the original run of the 6 DVDs around 20 years ago. the ones that look like old vinyl records. still have them

That's a good point. Reminds me of the firefly. Someone said there was a cowboy bebop movie. I didn't know. I do know firefly has one.
