It's a different species of coffee bean. Italians know that it can be good, but a lot of the world insists that 100% Arabica is quality when it isn't necessarily. This is my go to cheaper coffee. Give it a try.

It's not like it has cocoa nibs or something in it. It isn't all that chocolatey. Did you even try this or are you just trying to tell people how you feel about chocolate in coffee?

Good deal but not my favorite Lavazza variety. This one is 60% robusta. Super Crema is 40% robusta. My favorite, Qualita Rossa is 30% robusta. I prefer some robusta to the 100% arabica varieties.

Got similar product on prime day, 1 out of 4 was usable, 3 were just bricks, guessing water/moisture got it from sitting in warehouse for years. Ps doesn't say an expiry on packaging

I made a habit of trying most whole bean coffees that hit this general price on slick deals over the years and this is one that I'll keep buying at this general price point. Not worth it at full price, but a really reasonable cup at this cost.

I'm not a coffee connoisseur at all, so grain of salt and all that.

This is my favorite coffee ever!

Super Crema is my second choice.

I had already added it to my next subscribe and Save to get a fifth item, so it came to $9.25 for me.

For a long time robusta was associated with uber cheap beans but plenty of roasters put it in their espresso blends. Personally I think it's well balanced in these beans with other origins and I actually like this flavor profile, but it's not for everyone. That's why Lavazza has like 800 different offerings.

What does their intensity rating measure? This one's a 'medium' roast but 8/10 intensity. There are other blends that are 5/10 intensity and 'medium' as well as 6/10 and 'light' roast.

I drink filter coffee black and dark roasts always taste too burned for me. The 'Espresso Italiano' I bought on a deal from here is a 5/10 intensity and 'medium' roast and it already tastes too burnt for filter coffee for me. It's only acceptable for espresso and even then the beans were oilier than typical medium roast specialty coffee that I normally buy.
