Just leaving this comment here for the benefit of others - This is the Edge (Mediatek processor) and not the Edge + with the Snapdragon processor.

Call 833-428-1765 for Costco TMobile and you don't even have to go to the store at all. I did this deal on Sunday.

called costco and they said they have 90 validation period before they send out the $75 gc. Does this mean you need to use the Edge phone with your tmobile line in order to get the $75 gc? or can i just put the phone in my drawer, since i'm getting this as a spare phone only.

FYI, when doing multiple phone trade-ins in store, check to make sure the store rep matches the correct IMEI's of the trade-in phones to the particular lines that each phone is traded in for.

I just found out T-Mobile had silently dropped my monthly phone promo credits for 2 lines after initially giving me the first month's promo credit saying that I didn't trade in my phones because the phone's IMEI don't match to the lines that they were supposed to be traded in for even though T-Mobile said it doesn't matter.

For example:
Trade-in phone #1's IMEI 01234 for new phone on line #1.
Trade-in phone #2's IMEI 56789 for new phone on line #2.

Store rep canceled my initial trade-in submission above and created new trade-in submission switching the phones's IMEI.

Trade-in phone #2's IMEI 56789 for new phone on line #1.
Trade-in phone #1's IMEI 01234 for new phone on line #2.

Lesson is to pay attention to what the store rep does with your account and retain documentation and chat logs in case T-Mobile silently drops your promo after initially giving you the promo for the first bill.

How bad is this phone? I got a 24 month bill credit, free Samsung A11 phone, and it's pretty much the worst phone I have used in a very long time. It was only meant to be a convenient backup phone, but I wouldn't even consider using it if I didn't absolutely have to.

When I spoke to Tforce they said as of now there is no expiration date for this promotion.
What is the number for tforce? I JUST picked up this phone on Sunday and was on the phone with reps before I ordered it and NO ONE said anything about being able to trade in any phone. Now I'm on the phone with customer service wrangling about being able to trade any phone vs my A71

Thx for posting, I think I am going to go with the Motorola Edge+ 512GB 2023 edition, Boost mobile has it for 399.99. Just contemplating to if it drops lower when Android 14 releases in the next month or two.

will they accept a phone without the battery? i think they would since they don't care if it even works
Not sure. But I was just doing some tests. I said the screen was cracked and wouldn't power on and still got $498 for trade in value.

I'm in a similar situation. I avoided those 'free' android phones from T-Mobile because they usually are painfully slow.

I kind of want to jump on this deal since I'm on simple choice and it doesn't look like T-Mobile will have any killer trade in deals.

Last deal that I got was $430 via 24 bill credits off an iPhone 13 by trading in a cheap iPhone 4.

This phone seems like a good backup phone. Debating if I should do it or not…

I'm using the Edge 2022 right now as my main device. I switched from my Galaxy S23 (I like variety) and haven't felt the need yet to go back. Other than an average camera and an occasional stutter here or there, I have no complaints.

For tax only, it's a no brainer as long as you're going to stay with T-Mobile for two years. If you do it at Costco it's a moneymaker, at which point it would be foolish not to pick at least one up.

At a Costco. They said they don't have inventory and it will be shipped to my house. Can someone confirm that's true?

Not sure why you are coming across as if the OP owes you this deal. T-Mobile's promo page contradicts the shopping page by excluding the new line requirement, and in previous deals the promo page has been the golden source of truth. The OP provide the direct link to the promo page, confirmation from Tforce, and screenshots of the promo in their account. All of this have been covered in this thread, and your post screams that you haven't done your own research.

OP does not owe you anything. I thank the OP for bringing this deal to my attention. If this deal does not work out for you, that is the risk you took, so it's your responsibility to do your own research.
Can you read my previous post again? Slowly?

Who said anything about OP owe me.

I was countering your silly comparison between OP post and the official statement in TM website or app.

If I told you your checking account has $1000, but you check your app and only see $500, which one you trust more?

Unless I missed something, OP direct link didn't show P444 specifically.

But when I looked at my TM app, it clearly showed you need to add a line.
