Just leaving this comment here for the benefit of others - This is the Edge (Mediatek processor) and not the Edge + with the Snapdragon processor.

Call 833-428-1765 for Costco TMobile and you don't even have to go to the store at all. I did this deal on Sunday.

Also what you said... no deals for us Simple plan holders, I had a couple lines ( mother and mother in law) just sitting there, so I figured I might as well sign them up since "free"

if u in same boat, might as well.... I am not sure I would lock my line to something I would not use as my primary device though
yea, I wouldn't even mind a 'free' iPhone se 3 at this point.

Similar value as this edge phone, even cheaper at $430

So there's something funky with the deal. If I try to get it online, it definitely says I will get the $498 off by trading in a Galaxy A11, however, the terms of the deal also specify which phones will get you up to $500off - which definitely does not include my phone (see below)

Are they going to honor this?

Get up to $500 off:
Apple: iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro
Samsung: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10+, Galaxy Note10 Lite, Galaxy Note20, Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold2, Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold4
OnePlus: 10 Pro, 10T, 9 Pro 5G, 9 5G, 8T+ 5G, 8T, 8 Pro 5G, 8 5G
Google Pixel: Pixel 5, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro
LG: Wing
Moto: razr 4G, razr 5G
You are looking at the wrong promo which requires that list of phones. The wrong promo you mentioned is OFFER ID: P385

The one in this slickdeal is OFFER ID: P444

You don't think a free phone is a deal?
Yes of course. A free phone is a good deal. This phone seems to be slightly better than budget \mid range but not quite flagship. As I said the edge 22 plus would be definitely no brainer . Then you add the Motorola support years and maybe it's not that great of a deal for daily use perhaps as a spare which a lot of folks seem to be using it for. But reading some of the feedback here this phone is also pretty decent. In my opinion I just wouldn't tie up two years on this type of phone. If it was the 2022 edge Plus then perhaps. Ultimately I'm not really sure I can even since I'm about 12 months into 24 m a free iPhone 13 deal on most of my 8 lines in my family plan

Can you read my previous post again? Slowly?

Who said anything about OP owe me.

I was countering your silly comparison between OP post and the official statement in TM website or app.

If I told you your checking account has $1000, but you check your app and only see $500, which one you trust more?

Unless I missed something, OP direct link didn't show P444 specifically.

But when I looked at my TM app, it clearly showed you need to add a line.
I provided a link to their offers page. The very first tile is P444 promo, did you click the link? I provided my research, spoke with tforce and reps inside Costco. I personally have pulled the trigger and provided a screenshot of my accounts device promo which has the date and promo number.

It's up to you if you want to take my word, if you don't trust my research just call TMobile or message them on Twitter.

I understand the shop says it requires a line, that is incorrect and the offers page is clear that you just need a paid plan and any device trade in.

I'll be glad to provide other proof but I am definitely not working for T-Mobile. But with this promo they literally paid me a Costco shop card to trade my 20 year old phone for a more recent mid ranger.

Somewhere fair point. But my understanding is that it also comes with a two your contract. Bill credits over 2 years. I also recognize that some people are not interested in ever leaving t-mobile. I am probably one of them as well

my plan is $90 for 12 lines magenta plan. Many T-Mobile users have a very good plan. Do you think I mind the 2 year thing?

It's not about your research.
With TM promo, it's always something going on.

If you follow the TM promo history, you'd know that even after following the sd user's research steps, some members still got screwed.

I appreciate your post, at least it got me to check my app.
And I saw P444 promo, requiring me to add a line.

Does it mean your research is crap? No.

Most likely TM promo is messed up.

But taking risks aside, who should regular users trust in that case? The info TM placed on the app/site?
Your research?
SD admin?

TM is slippery in its promo these days

That is an insane plan. I wish I had that good mine is almost but not quite there. But yes I do agree as I listed up there while you were probably typing the response. I get it I recognize lots of people's including me will never be leaving T-Mobile

In my experience trust tforce, they have consistently provided accurate information and even make exceptions more so than their phone or in store counter parts. Their response times are usually pretty timely, I almost always get a response within the hour. If you're interested in this deal I would reach out to them for clarification.
