Just leaving this comment here for the benefit of others - This is the Edge (Mediatek processor) and not the Edge + with the Snapdragon processor.

Call 833-428-1765 for Costco TMobile and you don't even have to go to the store at all. I did this deal on Sunday.

It's not automatic, when I placed order, they not familiar with that, charge me $65 per line, I ask him to check with his supervisor getting voided $35 per line, as least have to manually void.
There's a check box for them to waive to DCC fees. Just remind them to waive the fee during process.

Are the trade in devices locked or unlocked?

I have some verizon older phones that are locked, some users were saying that reps over the phone were not accepting locked devices. In store, it does not matter to the reps
Un-fully training reps may not understand what's the MEID number to refused the trade in, Have one of rep was told me, any phone should all have IMEI number, I have to educate him any CDMA phone with 2g/3g only it may only have MEID numbers which they may not use and see before. It could come from Verizon or Old Sprint.

Bought a phone on Ebay. It powers and displays the IMEI.

Called Costco and they told me the phone is locked (to Sprint I think) and there is a chance it won't be accepted as a trade in. So I didn't want to take this chance and pay full price for a Motorola phone.

What are the chances the phone won't be accepted because it is locked? Why would they care if they accept even broken phones?

Should I try calling again and maybe another rep will say otherwise? Still, he might say locked is OK but the phone won't be accepted?

Should I try doing at the store as it was suggested earlier?
The store is kind of far away and I was there recently for grocery shopping. Don't want to go there just for the phone. Will this promo last for another several more weeks?

TIA.

Where does the rep select or enter in promo P444 at Costco?

I tried doing it at my local Costco. After entering in the IMEI for my S7edge, the guy said he's supposed to select the promo on the same page, where it automatically filled out the model/color/etc. And because it automatically filled out, he said there isn't a field that he can select the promo on that page. What was he doing wrong? I confirmed with T-Force that my plan qualifies.

He also tried it with my Samsung Highlight, but the IMEI showed up as an iPhone 12 Pro LMAO . So he couldn't do the trade-in with that one.

Any phone any conditions, be better pay off phone before trade in.
thanks. I guess my question was not clear. What I meant to say is that after I get this Moto Edge, free with 24 months credit, if it is broken, do I have to pay off the remaining balance. The 24 month credit is actually a lease contract. the trade-in will give you a "lease".

No, only keep line open, not close, not port out, t-mobile doesn't care you broke moto or give to someone or anything else.
