You have to add the phone to the line yourself on the web. The promo will double up. If you want the Costco perks than you need to find an agent that is willing to do it

The promo details says 'any phone'. Show that to the Expert/CSR/clerk when you do the trade. I didn't argue when I did the in-store trade since I have so many old and used phone at home. Time is money. Good luck
